NARRATIVE

This collection of furniture designed for The George hotel combines ebony-stained oak and blackened metal steel frames, accentuated by warm leather inlays and adorned with brass details. The furniture collection is comprised of two side tables, a coffee table, and a writing console. The George Side stands tall on a blackened metal cross base topped with ebony-stained oak boxes and is accented with brass trim and cold rolled steel inlay top. Power ports are embedded on the side of the tables, for bedside use, and most notably the backs of the tables have a concealed cavity to coil the power cords from the table to organize unsightly wires from view to accentuate the floating box tops. The George Coffee is an elongated hexagon with a brass cross base topped by a wood trimmed metal inlay top that and accented with a brass inlay detail at the table’s center. The George Writers Console is a universal piece of the collection and can be used as a small desk or as an accent console.  Complementing the side tables with the blackened metal cross base legs and brass button accent the leather inlay writing top, which adds warmth to the collection. The George Collection is offered in a variety of finishes and materials, to suit any space or style.
