NARRATIVE

BRAVA is a 46-story high-rise tower which stands taller than any other downtown residential building, and offers panoramic views of Houston. The tower has a slender, graceful outline, because the building is rotated diagonally, providing wide, uninterrupted views from each residence; generating an open urban space at the northeast corner, and creating a strong axial relationship from the building lobby to Market Place Park. The massing is a response to the buildings immediate context, maximizing natural light and long-distance views.

On the thin side of one end, undulating balconies create a dynamic twisting shape that rises up the building. This distinctive massing is a deliberate departure from the standard expectation of the high-rise residential building typology.
