NARRATIVE

The mudflap girl can be seen on the back of most pick-up and semi trucks rolling across the long stretches of Texas highways.  However, Texas has their own version of the mudflap “cowgirl”.  These custom carpets are designed for a hotel project soon to be unveiled in Fall 2013.  A giant runner was conceived to resemble a doily like pattern extending down the long guest room corridors of the hotel in shades of metallic grays and blacks with shocking Dallas Cowboys blue at the fringes.  Another field carpet was was designed for the guest rooms of interlocking mudflap cowgirls in varying shades of loop and cut pile grays and a metallic black medallion in the center highlighting the buxom DDs, big hair, boots and of course the cowgirl hat.
