NARRATIVE

A custom coffee table was designed for a private equity fund. The table design and fabrication was a collaboration between MaRS and  craftsman Brian Dumaine of Impressions. The piece is made of over 2200 lineal feet of stacked dowels which pays homage to the interesting connection between the oil field wildcatter and the consumption of cigarettes fittingly appropriated in popular culture as the ‘Marlborough’ man.
